When Vincent, an unfortunate songwriter in his thirties, learns that he has been diagnosed with tongue cancer, he bursts out laughing! Convinced that he'll soon be able to put this inconvenience behind him, Vincent agrees to undergo a series of treatments that affect his autonomy to the point where he's forced to accept the services of Renée, a verbomotor volunteer driver who's easily distracted, and Mike, an oddly insensitive home care nurse. As Vincent's good-naturedness fades and doubt sets in, new friendships are forged within this unusual trio, and it's thanks to them that Vincent manages to give meaning to his life.

Camille will have to leave the comfort of her office and swap her sneakers for high heels for a colorful undercover mission. And when Marie-France, determined not to let the competition get her down, accidentally stumbles across something she shouldn't have, the two women will have to work together to solve the mystery. What's behind Vavoom's chic, spray-net lacquered façade? This unlikely duo intend to find out!
